From smooth leather, the CANELA is born, braided by hand & then pounded to mold the braid together. The solid brass boat hardware is aged & the belt closure is a simple brass pin. The DENYS unisex belt is a remake of the belt that my mom made for my dad in the mid-1970s, before they were married. Cut from softened bull hide, it boasts a simple hand-stitched accent & aged solid brass rings. I've seen this belt worn with dresses to lend shape & it has a great classic look with jeans. The INFINITY double-wrap belt is made of softened bull hide & hand-pounded to form the interlocking infinity which gives the belt its name. The KAREN is really a work of art. The leather is softened, then molded by hand around a solid brass saddle buckle. It is hand-stitched with beeswaxed thread & heated slightly to tighten the leather around the buckle for a seamless fit. On vacation or in your favorite neighborhood restaurant, you can count on people taking notice. As with all DE PALMA belts, the leather becomes more beautiful with wear. 2 ½" wide. Our signature straight belt, the MON SEÑOR goes so well with jeans it's almost not fair to the other belts out there! This unisex belt has an interesting way of attaching to the buckle that is not only functional but aesthetically pleasing as well. The self-cinching closure is finished with a hand-pounded rivet that gives the belt substance... a subtle pop that draws people's attention, but allows the belt to remain fairly understated. Each piece is hewn from bull hide. The buckle comes in stainless steel (hand-scrubbed to achieve the dull finish) or in aged solid brass. 1 ½" wide. This is our MON SEÑOR unisex belt with dopple texture. Bull hide hand-textured and dyed in our workshop, with buckle in hand-scrubbed stainless steel (for matte finish) or aged brass. More about the MON SEÑOR design: This style was a happy accident as I fiddled with some leather while talking on the phone, so we decided to name it after an artist that we stumbled upon a few years back in the Spanish countryside who went by the name Mon Señor. 1 ½" wide.
